This cute pinafore apron is made from an upcycled button-down shirt, and accented by vintage cotton chambray fabric and some scrap material (the lemons/oranges) from another maker!
The upcycled shirt is a navy blue with tiny plaid.
Pockets are important, so I kept the original chest pocket, and turned the sleeve holes into pockets as well! (Pretty big ones, too).
There's also a handy loop for your keys or ear buds!
Any corners on the apron, such as the pocket edges, are reinforced with tack stitches.
MEASUREMENTS:
Waistband: 26"
Length of ties (from corners of pinafore): 40" each
Length of apron skirt: 29"
Pinafore length x width: 7"x12.5"
*** Please note: I somehow miscalculated the ties on this one - they're much shorter than my usual 72" for a pinafore. If your waist is close to the waistband measurement (about size Sm or Med), they will tie in the back. But if not, or if you'd like them to wrap around and tie - please leave a comment at checkout, I'd love to make sure it fits! Either with the light blue, or I can replace them with the plain cotton twill tape.

I carefully craft each one to utilize as much of the material as possible. Which means they'll all be different sizes - but hey, so are we.
